Congratulations to Guillaume Paillart and Zhongzheng He, whose paper has just been published in NMR in Biomedicine!

In this paper, we studied the impact of brain electrical conductivity values on electromagnetic simulations of the human body, using generic biomodels (such as “Kaja” or “Hugo”).

We have shown that when we use conductivity values measured in vivo using the techniques developed in the ELECTRA project (rather than values from the scientific literature based on ex vivo studies), electromagnetic simulations produce maps that more closely resemble those measured by MRI.
