What is ELECTRA?
ELECTRA is a project funded by the French ANR (Agence Nationale pour la Recherche, project ID: ANR-21-CE19-0040). ELECTRA stands for Electrical property imaging by MRI: Application to the MR compatibility of medical devices.
It is also a consortium of academic and industrial partners involved in this project, with the aim to promote the development and application of emerging MRI techniques to measure electrical properties of tissues in-vivo, non-invasively. Potential applications include MRI safety, but also diagnostic imaging, therapy planning and monitoring.
