Congratulations to Zhongzheng He, who defended his thesis on October 17, 2024! His work was carried out at the IADI laboratory and focused on the “Quantification of Electrical Properties of Organs by Magnetic Resonance Imaging”. This defense was an opportunity to present Zhongzheng’s many contributions to the ELECTRA project: optimization of the MRI acquisition protocol for conductivity and permittivity measurements, experimental validation of conductivity measurements on phantoms by comparison with the reference technique, in-vivo evaluation on a first database of adult and elderly volunteers, and evaluation of the impact of these new in-vivo data on the estimation of the specific absorption rate in MRI (non-exhaustive list)! Many thanks to Zhongzheng for this remarkable work! The thesis manuscript is available online at this link.
Zhongzheng is now starting a new research project, as a post-doctoral fellow, still with ELECTRA, but in the ICUBE laboratory.
